Mechanical Service Engineer – Training Provided
- Servicing, repairing, trouble shooting, stripping and rebuilding mechanical power presses on site at customers works.
- Working on presses from 1 ton – 1000 tons capacity.
- Experience on pneumatic and lubrication systems.
- Knowledge of the various types of mechanical and friction clutch and brake units.
- Good mechanical understanding of presses, clearances, setting slides, clutches, brakes etc.
Details
- Must have a full clean driving licence.
- Must have their own tools.
- A van is provided.
- Would be required to travel and work nationwide and sometimes work away and stay overnight.
- Must fill in all their own paperwork, service sheets and time sheets.
- Training provided.
Hours/Times:
- 37 hours basic per week (plenty of overtime)
- 0730 – 1600 Mon-Thurs, 0730 – 1230 Fri (factory hours)
- Early starts are essential when travelling long distances.
