Mechanical Service Engineer – Training Provided

  • Servicing, repairing, trouble shooting, stripping and rebuilding mechanical power presses on site at customers works.
  • Working on presses from 1 ton – 1000 tons capacity.
  • Experience on pneumatic and lubrication systems.
  • Knowledge of the various types of mechanical and friction clutch and brake units.
  • Good mechanical understanding of presses, clearances, setting slides, clutches, brakes etc.

Details

  • Must have a full clean driving licence.
  • Must have their own tools.
  • A van is provided.
  • Would be required to travel and work nationwide and sometimes work away and stay overnight.
  • Must fill in all their own paperwork, service sheets and time sheets.
  • Training provided.

Hours/Times:

  • 37 hours basic per week (plenty of overtime)
  • 0730 – 1600 Mon-Thurs, 0730 – 1230 Fri (factory hours)
  • Early starts are essential when travelling long distances.
